In March 2006, the Az-Zahraa Centre held a youth forum to engage youth and determine what youth would like from their community. One of the key requests by the youth was a fun filled summer camp where they could discuss the issues that most concern them. This camp hopes to meet this request by creating a youth only environment, with youth oriented speakers to facilitate open discussion on a variety of youth related topics.
Camp Jubilee is an ideal setting to have this camp. It is situated on the beach, is completely private and has an abundance of nature. The camp also offers fun activities such as rappelling/climbing on a natural wall of 60 feet, canoeing, kayaking, archery and a challenging obstacle course.
